Day 01 : Bangalore – Somnathpur - Mysore
Our representative will pick up from Bangalore and drive to Somnathpur. The Hoysala temple in Somnathpur is unique in its style and presentation. It is comparatively stunted. The temple is small, compact and structural. It is lavishly adorned with sculpture. The sculptures probably cover each and every inch of the wall space. This particular style of intensely packed sculptural scheme is the characteristic exclusive to the Hoysala art. Then drive to Mysore. On arrival at Mysore, visit St. Philomenas Church, Then visit World famous Mysore Palace one of the prime attractions of Mysore city & evening visit Brindavan Gardens (KRS) expanded over 150 acres. The musical fountain and light show adds attraction to the garden. Return to the hotel and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02 : Mysore - Srirangapatna - Shravanbelagola - Hassan
Morning, check out the hotel and drive to drive to Srirangapatana, which was the capital of the warrior king Hyder Ali and his son Tipu Sultan, having magnificent monuments. Then drive to Shravanabelagola. The Shravanabelagola temple is a holy place for the Jains and is world famous for the majesty of Bhagawan Bahubali (also known as Gommateshwara in Kannada Language) towering over everything around. On arrival at Shravanabelagola, visit the 57 feet tall monolith statue of Bhagawan Bahubali located a top of Vindhyagiri Hill. The statue is regarded as world tallest monolith statue and was installed in 981 AD by Chavundraya. Get the divine blessings and then proceed to visit the nearest Chandragiri hill and visit few Basadis (Jain Temples). Then drive to Hassan, known as the temple-architecture capital of Karnataka. On arrival at Hassan, check in to the hotel and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03 : Hassan - Halebid - Belur - Hospet (Hampi)
In the Morning, after Breakfast, check out the hotel and visit Halebidu, the 12th century capital of the Hoysalas. The Hoysaleswara temple was built during this time by Ketamala and attributed to Vishnuvardhana, the Hoysala ruler. Halebid enshrines Hoysaleswara and Shantaleswara, named after the temple builder Vishnuvardhana Hoysala and his wife, Queen Shantala. Then drive to Belur, which is located on the banks of the River Yagachi, a star shaped temple with hand lathe-turned filigreed pillars and sculptures will take your breath away. The temple, perched on a star shaped base amidst lawns, is a sculptural extravaganza. Then drive to Hospet, known for exquisite temples, the ruins of famous monuments built during the Vijayanagar empirical rule. The ruins are a UNESCO World Heritage Site, listed as the Group of Monuments at Hampi. On arrival at Hospet, check in to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 04 : Hospet - Hampi - Hospet
After Breakfast, drive to Hampi for Sightseeing (Virupaksha Temple, Kadale Kalu Ganesha, Sasive Kalu Ganesha, Krishna Temple, Lakshmi Narasimha, Badavi Linga, Sister Stones, Underground Temple, Mint House, Lotus Mahal, Elephant Stables, Hazara Rama Temple, Palace Area, Mahanavami Dibba, Queen's Bath). After Lunch visit Vijaya Vittala Temple (Stone Chariot), King's Balance, Purandara Mantapa, Old Pillar Bridge. if time permits, proceed to visit Tungabhadra Dam, constructed across the Tungabhadra River. Evening, return to the hotel and overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 05 : Hospet - Kudalasangama - Aihole - Pattadakal - Mahakuta - Badami
Morning after breakfast, check out the hotel drive to Kudalasangama, the Aikya Mantapa or the holy Samādhi of Basavanna, the founder of the Lingayath faith along with Shiva Linga, which is believed to be self-born (Swayambhu), is here. Then proceed to visit Aihole, a popular tourist spot known for Chalukyan architecture, with about 125 stone temples dating from 5th century CE. Then visit Pattadakal, a UNESCO world heritage site, well known for Chalukya monuments. Then visit Banashankari (Banashankari Temple), Mahakuta (Mahakuteshwara Temple) and finally drive to Badami. Badami was formerly known as Vatapi, was the regal capital of the Badami Chalukyas from 540 to 757 AD. On arrival at Badami, visit famous rock cut structural temples. Evening, check in to the hotel and overnight stay at the temple.
Day 06 : Badami - Bangalore (Drop)
In the morning, after breakfast, check out the hotel at Hospet and drive to Bangalore. On arrival at Bangalore, you will be transferred to the Airport or Railway Station. Trip ends with the delightful memories of Mysore - Hassan - Hampi - Badami Tour Package.
