Day 01 : Bangalore - Kukke Subrahmanya
Our representative will pick up you from Bangalore and drive to Kukke Subrahmanya, a popular religious destination which is surrounded by lush green forest along with hills. It is situated on the banks of the Kumaradhara River. On arrival at Kukke Subrahmanya, check in to the hotel after some time, visit to the temples at Kukke Subramanya, first visit Adi Subrahmanya, great Valmmika (anthill) in the sanctum, then visit main temple of Lord Subrahmanya that is dedicated to the Snake God Vasuki and Lord Subrahmanya. The temple is famous for religious rituals pertaining to snake god, in the temple you can visit other small shrines like Uma Maheshwara Temple, Samputa Narasimha Temple, Hosaligamma and Kukke Lingas. Then visit Kashikatte Ganapathi Temple, a very ancient and Ganapathi idol installed by sage Narada and Kukke Shree Abhaya Mahaganapathi, one of the biggest monolithic statues of Ganapathi. It is 21 feet tall and the architecture of the shrine is in Nepali style. Return to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02: Kukke Subrahmanya - Dharmasthala – Mangalore
Morning, checkout the Hotel and drive to Sauthadka Ganapathi Kshetra, a place dedicated to Vana Mahaganapathi (without any temple structure) and it is surrounded by scenic beauty. Then proceed to Dharmasthala, the holy abode for Hindu's. On arrival at Dharmasthala, visit to the Lord Manjunathaswamy Temple, the main attraction of Dharmasthala and have a darshan of Lord Manjunatha (Shiva). Then visit to Rathnagiri (statue of Bhagawan Bahubali or Gommateshwara), Bidinede (Annappa) Betta, and Sri Rama Kshetra, on the banks of river Nethravathi. After visiting these temples drive to Mangalore. On arrival at Mangalore, check in to the Hotel. Then visit Sharavu Mahaganapathi Temple, Mangaladevi Temple and evening visit to Kudroli Sri Gokarnanatha Kshetra, one of the beautiful temples of Mangalore filled with lights and decorative everywhere around the temple is bliss to watch! Everyone who visits Mangalore must visit this temple. Return to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03: Mangalore – Kudupi – Polali – Kateel - Udupi
Morning after breakfast, checkout the hotel and visit Kadri Manjunatheshwara Temple, a spectacular temple dedicated to Lord Manjunatha on the Kadri hills. Then drive to Kudupu Ananthapadmanabha Temple, situated in Kudupu village, which is 10 Kms away from Mangalore City (On Mangalore – Moodbidre Route). The temple is dedicated to Lord Anantha Padmanabha (another form of Lord Vishnu) and famous for serpent worship. Then drive to Polali to get the diving blessings of Goddess Rajarajeshwari. The idol of Goddess Rajarajeshwari is completely moulded from clay with special medicinal properties. The temple portrays Hindu architecture with roofs adorned with wooden carvings of gods and copper plates. Then drive to Kateel Durga Parameshwari Temple, located on the banks of River Nandini. Get the divine blessings of Goddess Durgaparameshwari Temple and proceed to Udupi, a temple town and one of important Mukti stalas of Karnataka. On arrival at Udupi, check in to the hotel. Evening, visit to Kadiyali Mahisha Madidhni Temple and Ambalapady Janardhana & Mahakali Temple at Udupi. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
Day 04: Udupi - Murudeshwar - Idagunji – Gokarna
Early morning after Bath, visit to the world famous Sri Krishna Temple and then visit nearby Anantheshwara temple and Chandramouleshwara Temple. After visiting these temples return to the Hotel. After having breakfast, check out the hotel and proceed to Saligrama Narasimhaswami Temple and Anegudde Ganapathi Temple. Then drive to Murudeshwara. Murudeshwara beach town lies on the coast of the Arabian Sea and is also famous for the Murudeshwara Temple. The main attraction of this place is world's second - tallest Shiva statue and 20 storied Gopura (237.5 feet) is constructed at the temple. Visit Shiva statue and Lord Murudeshwara Temple, built on the Kanduka Hill which is surrounded on three sides by the waters of the Arabian Sea. After having darshan of Lord Murudeshwara, a short break at Murudeshwar Beach then proceed to Gokarna. Enroute, visit to the Ganapathi Temple at Idagunji. On arrival at Gokarna, check in to the Hotel and relax for some time. Evening visit to the nearest beach and enjoy. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05: Gokarna – Sirsi - Jogfalls – Sagar
Early morning after Bath, visit to Mahabaleshwara Temple, a sacred pilgrimage site amongst Indian Places. The Mahabaleshwar temple enshrines the Atma Linga of Lord Shiva. Legend says that the holy Linga was given by Lord Shiva to King Ravana to make his kingdom an invincible fortress. Then proceed to visit Tamra Gowri Temple and Ganapathi Temple at Gokarna and return to the Hotel. After having breakfast, check out the hotel and proceed to Sirsi. On arrival at Sirsi, proceed to visit Sahasralinga, a beautiful place in Western Ghats where hundreds of Lingas are carved in stone in Shalmala River in North Canara. Then visit to Sonda Vadiraja Mutt. Then, visit to Goddess Marikamba Temple at Sirsi. The 16th century Marikamba temple in Sirsi is main attraction of Sirsi and it is one of the important seats of shakti worship in Karnataka. Sri Marikamba Temple houses a huge idol of Goddess, which is about seven feet tall. Then visit nearest Maha Ganapathi and Shri Gopalakrishna Temple near Marikamba Temple. Then drive to Jogfalls, Jog Falls is the second-highest waterfalls of India. Jog Falls is also called by alternative names of Gersoppa Falls and Jogada Gundi. The magnificent Jog Falls is unquestionably the grandest natural beauty in Karnataka, rich as it is in splendid scenery. Then drive to Sagar, on arrival at Sagar, check in to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 06: Sagar - Sigandur Chowdeshwari Temple – Kollur
Morning after breakfast, check out the hotel and drive to Sigandur Chowdeshwari Temple, located near river Sharavathi. The location is itself very extraordinary as the temple is surrounded by greenary on one side and the river on the other. The Sigandur temple is very unique in itself, as the Goddess is self manifest and is very powerful. Godess Chowdeshwari is very powerful goddess where in prayed honestly gets results positive. After getting the blessings of Chowdeshwari Temple at Sigandur, proceed to Kollur. Kollur lies at the foot of the Western Ghats and the main attraction of Kollur is temple dedicated to Goddess Mookambika. On arrival at Kollur, check in to the Hotel. Evening visit to the Mookambika Temple, one of the important places of pilgrimage in Karnataka. The panchaloha image of the goddess on Shri Chakra is stated to have been consecrated by Shri Adi Shankaracharya. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 07: Kollur - Shankaranarayana - Sringeri - Horanadu Annapoorneshwari Temple
Early morning after breakfast, check out the hotel and proceed to Sringeri. Enroute, visit Shankaranarayana Temple, considered as one of the seven Mukti places created by Lord Parashurama. This is one of the rare temples where we can see the confluence of Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu and they are woshipped in form of Lingas. Then enjoy the beautiful scenery of Agumbe Ghat. Sringeri is located on the banks of river Tunga and it is the site of the first mutt established by Adi Shankaracharya. The main attraction of Sringeri is Sri Sharadamba Temple and Vidya Shankara Temple. The Vidyashankara temple is an architectural marvel. After visiting temples at Sringeri, drive to Horanadu. Horanadu is a place of enchanting natural landscape in Chikmagalur district, ancient temple of the goddess Annapoorneshwari here has been restored and renamed the Adi – Shaktyataka Shree Annapoorneshwari. The main deity of Annapoorneshwari is made of gold. It is said that a person who seeks the blessings of Goddess would never have any scarcity for food in life. On arrival at Horanadu, check in to the hotel and relax for sometime and them visit the Annapoorneshwari temple and offer prayers. Evening dinner at Temple and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 08: Horanadu - Kalasa - Belur - Halebid - Bangalore
Early morning after breakfast, check out the hotel and proceed to Kalasa, located on the banks of Bhadra river. Kalasa temple is home to the Kalaseshwara Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Then proceed to Belur, a historic place known for Chennakesava temple, one of the finest examples of Hoysala workmanship. Then visit Chennakesava temple at Belur. Then proceed to Halebid, home to some of the best examples of Hoysala architecture. Most notable are the ornate Hoysaleswara and Kedareswara temples. Then drive to Bangalore. On arrival at Bangalore, you will be transferred to your residence or Railway Station for your onward journey. Trip ends with the delightful memories of Karnataka Temple Tour Package.
